To fulfill its repair program, Saratov Distribution Grids (SDG), a branch of IDGC of Volga, PJSC (a member of Rosseti Group of Companies), furbished up 110 kV Kurdyum — Tarkhany — Tyagovaya power transmission line.
SDG's specialists replaced insulators of the earth wire, intermediate and anchor supports, straightened intermediate supports, repaired ground foundation elements and attached new safety signs.
Considerable attention was paid to removing trees and shrubs from the area of rights-of-way using special mulcher machinery. All trees jeopardizing trouble-free operation of the power line were removed. 110 kV Kurdyum — Tarkhany — Tyagovaya power transmission line spans over 44 kilometers in Saratovsky, Tatishchevsky and Voskresensky districts of the Saratov region. It provides power to railway power grid facilities. The routine repair of this line contributes to higher safety and reliability of power supplies to the consumers.
The autumn and winter preparation campaign reached out to other branches of IDGC of Volga, PJSC, including Mordovenergo, Penzaenergo, Chuvashenergo, Orenburgenergo, Ulyanovsk Distribution Grids and Samara Distribution Grids.
