MOSENERGO sold 170 million kWh of power at .266 rubles at the February FOREM tenders. In total five bids to purchase power were submitted with MOSENERGO as the sole seller. Nizhnovenergo JSC won the bid.
This month MOSENERGO has posted for sale at wholesale power market a total of 270 million kWh with the start price at .24 rubles per 1 kWh. Pre-planned deliveries amounted to 170 million kWh and those above-plan-100 million kWh, which means that this month the company has marketed all pre-planned deliveries of power through FOREM.
In January the company also sold all pre-planned deliveries of power through FOREM. Of the total 230 million kWh posted for sale Belgorodenergo JSC purchased 200 million kWh at .221 rubles per kWh and Chelyabenergo JSC purchased 30 million kWh at .2311 rubles per kWh. MOSENERGO's start price was .22 rubles per kWh.
The next FOREM power tenders in which March deliveries will be posted are tentatively scheduled for the end of February. The start price for Mosenergo power will likely be no less than .24 rubles per 1 kWh.
According to the plan, in the first quarter of this year MOSENERGO will post at the FOREM 500 million kWh of power. As of today the company has already marketed 400 million kWh, so by the end of the quarter it will have to post another 100 million kWh.
"When we sell our power at the FOREM tenders we receive guaranteed and proper payments for it in cash, in full and at prices higher than the regular ones. This is why we have increased the delivery of our product to FOREM," said D.Uglov, leading economist of the MOSENERGO Head Office.
