RTKOMM offers new services for corporate clients

RTKOMM has come out with a new service called RTKOMM Atom Ethernet, which makes it possible for the company to organize a single information space for companies which have regional divisions which operate using Ethernet local network technologies.

RTKOMM Atom Ethernet is an efficient and quick alternative to leasing a dedicated channel.  Clients receive the opportunity to organize a virtual private network with a single dedicated space, which makes it easier to govern such a network, while economizing significant funds when acquiring routing equipment to join disparate local Ethernet networks.

The service is implemented on the basis of AToM technology - Any Transport over MPLS (CISCO), which makes it possible to achieve a transparent transfer of Ethernet packages which are formed in local client networks through the MPLS network of RTKOMM.  The main difference between RTKOMM AToM Ethernet and 3G IP VPN is that RTKOMM’s MPLS network runs irrespective of internal content (the IP package does not necessarily need to be within the Ethernet package).

RTKOMM Atom Ethernet is geared towards small and medium-size corporate clients segment, regional and local telecom operators (e.g. “household networks”), which have segments in various cities, and Internet providers that wish to merge their networks.  Previously, these companies were passed over by providers mainly geared towards traditional corporations and large corporate users.  RTKOMM has envisaged the possibility of setting tariffs depending on the volume of traffic, which should also attract the attention of potential clients seeking to replace expensive dedicated channels.
