The All-Russian Congress of Power Engineers in Chelyabinsk, organized by PJSC Rosseti, is the first in the history of the national power industry such a large-scale meeting of specialists and middle and senior managers representing the country's power grid enterprises. On the first day of the Congress, General Director of Rosseti Pavel Livinsky presented the development strategy of the Rosseti Group of Companies, noting three priority areas - qualitative improvement of reliability and availability of power supply to consumers regardless of the region and type of settlement, ensuring technological development and digital transformation of the Group of Companies for creation and promotion of additional services, increasing the total profitability of shareholders. The work of Rosseti Volga has been provided as one of the examples of the growth of investment attractiveness and achievement of ROIC (return on investment capital) at the level of 15% -17%.
Within the framework of the Congress the results of the autumn-winter period of 2018/2019 and preparations for the upcoming peak season, the implementation of the concepts of digital transformation, the development of the system of operational, technological and situational management of the power grid complex, as well as the main directions of the technical policy of Rosseti Group were discussed. The Congress will also host the final of the contest "Leaders of power industry", among the participants of which - 26 representatives of Rosseti Volga. Participants of the competition will have to complete the final tasks, the results of which will determine the winners. More than 240 representatives of Rosseti Volga headed by General Director Vladimir Ryabikin take an active part in the events of the Congress.
"This event, which is unique in scale and intensity, gives a powerful impetus for further work," - Vladimir Ryabikin noted. - "The power engineers of the whole country, united by a common goal, have the opportunity to receive strategically important information about the prospects for the development of the power grid complex and discuss it with colleagues in a constructive live dialogue."
