On June 17, in Moscow, on the sidelines of the 25th International
Packaging And Labelling Exhibition (RosUpack 2021), Segezha Group
PJSC (a part of Sistema PJSFC) was awarded Part Awards 2021.
Part Awards is an annual international award in
the field of packaging solutions and design. The nominees are
companies offering high-quality packaging solutions with improved
consumer properties. Segezha Group became the winner in three
nominations.
“Manufacturer of the Year” in the category
“Packaging for Food Products” was handed to the holding for paper
bags with a cut-out window for vegetables and fruits. This packaging
is eco-friendly, biodegradable and protects products from UF
radiation, keeping them fresh.
Segezha Group was selected “Manufacturer of the
Year” in the “Industrial Packaging” category for its innovative
small-format packaging for dry building mixtures. The sacks are
designed for 3-5 kg and do not require installation of any additional
packaging equipment at the manufacturing site.
“Organizer’s Choice” was awarded for the
best concept of participation in RosUpack 2021 and the exhibition
booth.

In 2020, the share of the packaging business in
the company's revenue structure amounted to 27%, and the development
strategy is aimed at raising it even higher. Segezha Group's
converting capacity reaches about 1.6 billion items per year. It has
3 facilities in Russia and 7 in Europe. The sales territory covers 45
countries. Segezha Group ranks second in the world by the volume of
producing industrial multi-layer paper bags. Packaging by Segezha
Group is used at enterprises that make dry construction mixtures,
cement, chemical products, fertilisers, animal products, charcoal,
and food. The holding's packaging solutions are also in high demand
in the retail, e-commerce, and delivery market. Segezha Group has the
capacity for applying high-quality colored text and images (up to
eight colors) to its packaging solutions, which helps with the
efficient execution of situational marketing concepts, as well as
online-integrated gamification for kids.
