As part of the import substitution program, LUKOIL has increased purchases of products from oilfield services companies of the Tyumen Region. Raised by half in the past two years, the total volume of the purchases equaled 1.5 billion rubles in 2016.
The prospects of cooperation between LUKOIL and the region’s oilfield services companies were discussed by LUKOIL’s Vice President for Procurements Denis Rogachev and Deputy Governor of the Tyumen Region Vadim Shumkov. They also visited several factories manufacturing the equipment and had a meeting with representatives of some 50 oilfield services companies.
It is also planned that a LUKOIL team will meet representatives of the West-Siberian Innovation Center (Tyumen Technopark). Involved in expert reviews of the potential of innovative products and in the development of the Tyumen Region’s industrial cluster, the company has been cooperating with the Center since the day it was established.
