The software-based complex “Start” was introduced for solving of research problems, connected with studying of real conditions of conduit work. The complex allows to calculate resistance, fastness, hermiticity of conduits of any complexity – flat, branched, with closed circuits and also subjected to various external actions. The present program allows to receive graphical display of written information. Graphical display of the conduit can be viewed in increased scale, turned round the reference axis. Beside display it gives information about length of all sections, projections of all sections to any reference axis, picture of the conduit with all details and holdings.

“Start” program is one of the most widespread programs in Russia and CIS countries. The program obtained wide application in the cities of Moscow and St. Petersburg at designing, reconstruction and construction of heat networks.
