Such a desire was expressed by the Head of the Komi Republic at the meeting with Alexander Kukhmay, General Director of IDGC of North-West.

As press service of Komi Head and Government informs, Vladimir Torlopov set the task to power engineers which says that during the region infrastructure construction, first of all, the interests of the republic contractors shall be considered.

Head of Komi stated that in general, the relations of the Republic Government and “Komienergo” are shaped very well. “I’d like to add that Komi Government in present conditions places stakes on, firstly, the social support of the people during the government’s tasks implementation. Secondly, we strengthen the work with the industrial enterprises. Especially with those which do dot complain about crisis, but operate well and reduce the costs.

I’m sure that power engineers are guided by the same logics. It is very important for us, because in the north, taking into consideration the distance, low density of population in the Republic of Komi and climate, for us the reliable work of power system is not the issue of comfort, but the issue of survival,” said Vladimir Torlopov.

He also noted that the crisis affected also the construction organizations of the republic. Together with this, Komi Republic Head expressed the desire that choosing the contractors, power engineers should take into consideration not only the companies which are located beyond the boundaries of the Republic, but also the construction organizations located in the region.
