This year because of the late winter and February frosts, snow melting and ice drift have begun a little later than in preceding years.

The biggest inflow of spring overflow waters is observed in the cross-section of Egorshinsky waterworks facility (dam of Artyomovskaya HPP) and Volkovsky waterworks facility (Krasnogorskaya HPP). By March 30^th they expect opening of the Iset river.

Head of the production direction of Sverdlovsk region of TGC-9 Leonid Solovyev signed the Order “Arrangements for providing trouble free pass of overflow waters and reliable work of energy enterprises”.

According to this document, the Production Direction of Sverdlovsk region of TGC-9 established an overflow commission. Similar commissions started working at energy objects that are located of the territory of Sverdlovsk region. Specialists of the commissions follow the situation at the local level, co-ordinate their actions on prevention of accidents with similar municipal and departmental authorities, owners of waterworks facilities, services of civil defense and emergency situations and hydremeteorological service.

Commissions appraise the condition of hydraulic structures, organize stripping of conduit structures and drain canals, arrange monitoring of waterline in water-storage reservoirs and ash-and-slag disposals, as well as provide generating stations with necessary equipment for successful energy supply in the period of the flood.

Generating stations of TGC-9 will provide reliable and regular energy supply of consumers in the period of the flood.
