Moscow, 24 November 2008. OJSC INTER RAO UES has received a certificate of operational readiness for the autumn and winter of 2008-2009. The document is signed by the Deputy Minister of Energy of the Russian Federation V.Yu. Sinyugin.

The document attests to the full readiness of the Russian electric power stations managed by the Company to operate under the condition of autumn-winter peak demand.

The activities of the commissions deployed to review the autumn/winter readiness were conducted at the OJSC INTER RAO UES subsidiaries Sochinskaya TES, Ivanovoskiye PGU, Kaliningradskaya TETs-2 and Severo-Zapadnaya TETs in September and October this year. The commissions rated the progress under the power station repair plans, the condition of equipment, its operational reliability. The commissions' findings are documented with appropriate certificates.
