Moscow, September 5, 2008. Common shares of OJSC INTER RAO UES were included in the new RTS-2 Index and the RTS Sectoral Index – Power Industry. These new share lists for RTS Index calculation approved by the Information Committee of Russian Trading System Stock Exchange will be effective from September 15 until December 12, 2008.

The RTS Information Committee recalculates ratios accounting for the portion of free float shares on a quarterly basis, simultaneously with the approval of lists of shares included in the calculation of a certain index. In case of OJSC INTER RAO UES, this ratio was valued by the RTS Information Committee at 20%.
