The Memorandum of Cooperation covering issues related to the power sector was signed between PJSC EMAlliance and JSC INTER RAO UES in Moscow.

Relying on the lessons learned from operation on power markets in CIS and other countries of the world, JSC INTER RAO UES and PJSC EMAlliance think highly of their cooperation, which, in the first place, pertains to joint implementation of power plant construction and modernization projects in the countries of the former USSR and in India, South-Eastern Asia, and Latin America. It is supposed that EMAlliance may become the main provider of boiler equipment and engineering solutions not only to the new assets of JSC INTER RAO UES, but also to the existing and renovated ones. 

The Memorandum specifies main directions of mutually beneficial partnership, including joint preparation and implementation of investment projects in the power sector by creating consortiums or other unions and joint research and development work aimed at developing new technologies. 

Pursuant to the Memorandum, the parties are going to inform each other of promising investment projects in the power sector and facilitate conclusion of the relevant contracts and agreements aimed at execution of the signed document. 

Conditions of participation of the companies in joint investment projects will be determined individually for each project and specified in separate contracts.
