President of LUKOIL Vagit Alekperov and the Head of the Republic of Kalmykia, Alexey Orlov, signed a Protocol to the Cooperation Agreement between the company and the region for 2019, at the Russian Investment Forum in Sochi today.

The protocol envisages reconstruction and re-equipment of the state-owned concert and cinema hall in the city of Elista, renovation of several public facilities in rural areas of the region and involvement of the company in various regional events. LUKOIL will also hold a contest of its Social and Cultural Projects.

As part of the agreement, in force since 2014, LUKOIL has provided financial support for the reconstruction and re-equipment of multiple healthcare and educational institutions, public and cultural facilities, and for the renovation of children's play- and sportsgrounds.
