In 2017, electricity output of CHPPs increased by 6.8% compared to 2016. The major growth factors are as follows:
- the increase of demand in the Northwest of Russia;
- increased load of the stations upon the request of the System Operator of Unified Power System;
- commissioning of a new high-efficiency gas turbine power unit at the Power Plant No.1 of the Centralnaya CHPP.
The comparable electricity output by HPPs increased by 6.4% due to the higher water content at the Nevsky and Karelsky branches.

According to 2017 results, the volume of heat output from headers of TGC-1, including PJSC Murmanskaya CHPP, comprised 24,714.6 thousand Gcal, which is 1.1% higher compared to 2016, due to the prolonged heating period.
Average specific consumption of fuel equivalent for electricity and heat output at TGC-1 has remained at the level of comparable values, amounting to 208.7 g/kWh and 169.2 kg/Gcal, respectively.
